The Montana Campus Network for Civic Engagement staff are the driving force behind our mission to inspire and support civic engagement across Montana’s higher education institutions.

With a deep commitment to fostering student involvement, community partnerships, and academic excellence, our team works to provide the resources, guidance, and leadership necessary to empower our affiliate campuses.

DANIEL CORRADINI
Associate Director

Dan Corradini joined our network office team March of 2025 and brings great energy to the MCNCE team! As our Associate Director, Dan’s focus is on supporting our capacity building work, awards and AmeriCorps VISTA program initiatives. Dan’s background includes nonprofit work with Missoula Youth Homes, national service with the Montana Conservation Corps, and lots more!

ISABELLA CULVER
Interim Operations Manager

Isabella supports MCNCE’s internal operations and fiscal ongoings for national service initiatives, scholarship opportunities, and campus-network service projects. As a two-term AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps VISTA alum, Isabella has built community capacity to address poverty in Rutland Vermont, supported a statewide cohort of AmeriCorps College Coaches as a Senior Lead here in Montana, and orchestrated our organization’s service efforts as a Program Coordinator. Isabella recently transitioned into her new role leading MCNCE’s organizational duties across the many sectors of our statewide operation to service our network campuses and foster civic engagement!

LIZZY DALY
AmeriCorps Planning Grant Coordinator

Lizzy is the AmeriCorps Planning Grant Coordinator for MCNCE, leading efforts to assess campus and community needs and design a new AmeriCorps program for Montana’s higher education network. Prior to joining MCNCE, she ran a school gardening program serving schools in Savannah, Georgia. Now in Montana, Lizzy looks forward to connecting with partners statewide to ensure the new AmeriCorps initiative reflects local needs and strengthens community impact.

JOSH VANEK
Executive Director

Josh works to expand MCNCE’s impact across Montana and the region and ensure affiliate value in our programs and initiatives. He works closely with MCNCE’s Executive Board, CEO Council and Advisory Committee, staff, and partners to support MCNCE’s mission. Josh received his B.A. in political science from The University of Montana before serving in the Peace Corps in Latvia from 1997-1999. After completing Peace Corps service, he returned to Montana and served as an AmeriCorps VISTA Leader before joining the staff.

THUONGAN TRANVU
VISTA Team Leader

Thuongan is a VISTA Team Leader who provides member support to sixteen VISTA members across Montana, develops member training resources, and assists MCNCE staff with recruitment for future cohorts. Before coming to the University, he received his B.S in physics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, has served a term as an AmeriCorps NCCC Corp Member, and hopes to matriculate into medical school after service.

REBECCA MAINE
Campus Food Pantry Network Developer | VISTA

Rebecca Maine currently serves as the Campus Food Pantry Network Developer and has previously completed an AmeriCorps summer service with the Missoula Food Bank & Community Center. She holds a BFA from the University of Montana and plans to enter a graduate program at UM following her service. She is passionate about food security, volunteering, and grant writing. In her free time, she enjoys backpacking, snowboarding, and riding motorcycles, among other activities.

LAYLA RIGGS

Layla is our communications work study student and an anthropology student at UM. Before coming to the University and working with us, she competed in DECA, Speech and Debate, and Mock Trial, all of which helped to grow her skills in communication and marketing. She enjoys crafting, watching movies, playing the NYT games, and skiing.
