Background
Project proposals are open for organizations, campuses, and campus-community partnerships interested in hosting one or more AmeriCorps members during the 2027-2028 service year!
These year-long projects are scheduled to take place either in August (VISTA) or September (Campus Corps).
MCNCE AmeriCorps VISTA places national service members with Montana schools, colleges, nonprofits, and government agencies to address college student hunger, expand civic engagement opportunities on campus, build organizational efficiency, efficacy, and program reach by completing one-year, capacity building projects.
The VISTA priority areas are: College Access & Success, K-12 Success or School Readiness, Community Resilience, Veterans & Military Families, college persistence, civic engagement, and addressing food insecurity among college students and their communities.
