About Dylan:
Dylan is a writer and musician from Browning, Montana. She is a citizen of the Amskapii Pikunii tribe, and her Indigenous background informs all of her artistic endeavors. She has been writing music for about 10 years, though she started performing solo work around 2 years ago. In that time she’s played all over Montana, from Missoula to Butte, from Glacier National Park to her beloved home in Browning. Her work centers stories of the underrepresented, with lyrics balancing the introspective with the political. She writes stories about human experiences, like the guilt one feels when they kill a mouse, but she also writes songs meant to be played at protests.
Our 2025 theme is “Native American Art: Creative Connections to Tribal Histories and Cultures.”
