Project proposals are now being accepted from campuses and campus-community partnerships interested in hosting one or more AmeriCorps members during the 2026-2027 term. These eleven month long projects are scheduled to take place from September 2, 2026 through July 16, 2027. MCNCE AmeriCorps places national service members with Montana colleges and universities as well as nonprofits and government agencies to address college student hunger and expand civic engagement opportunities on campus in an effort to foster student belonging and improve student persistence. The MCNCE AmeriCorps priority areas are: college persistence, civic engagement, and addressing food insecurity among college students and their communities.
